Quick Notes
Tesi (Finnish state-owned investment company) published their yearly diversity review on the Finnish PE & VC industry (the whole report here). There’s more data from VC & PE teams than just gender diversity in the report, but it’s nice to see slow but steady growth on there, still a lot of work to do but at least some positive signs.
The a16z marketplace 100 was published, ranking the largest consumer facing marketplace startups. Interesting insights in the report (whole thing here), if you don’t have the time / energy to read through the whole thing, here are the key takeaways:
An update to the Swedish Climate Action Startup Map was published - with a lot more interaction this time. Rather than just a picture, you can actually search for what you need - access the map here. There’s also a lot of data and other content on the site if you have time to explore.
Maybe you missed Slush last year, maybe you didn’t - regardless you can now pre-register to get access to tickets earlier than others here.
Arctic15 volunteer applications are open, if you’re interested you can apply here.
I’ve just had so much fun this week reading these. I’ll definitely try a similar trick some day when I’m bored :D

As a bonus this week, if there are other Birkenstock fans in my readers, I’ve got to share this cleaning guide - here. Haven’t done the spring clean to mine with this guide yet, but I’ll definitely do that!
All the best,
Josefiina
